Did I make the right choice? (got into 5 out of 10 programs)

the other programs I won’t mention because they were low reaching last resort programs, but I ended up stuck between SSP, CMU sams, and very recently YYGS for science. I’m most interested in chem or materials science atm.

i ended up picking CMU sams because i best resonated with its mission, and it was on the same level of prestige that would help for college while allowing me to have free time that didn’t include pausing my personal projects cold turkey...

Ssp was a close second, but I’m a bad test taker when it comes to the sat, and I really needed that free time that ssp couldn’t give to me because it emphasized a complete immersion while restricting any outside commitments.

and then there’s yygs, which Ill likely turn down because of its rep lol, and as much as yale’s my dream school id stick to touring.

i just wanted to know if CMU sams was a bad choice in terms of my thinking. Im not disappointed with my choice, but a lot of people tried convincing me to do ssp instead so now im worried lol
