Hello all!

Looking for some advice on some logistics and things to do in splitting time between two locations (Munich Germany and Vienna Austria) during December.

We are looking to do some Christmas Markets in both of course, as well as loving history there seems to be a lot of awesome history (Deutches Museum in Munich, Schönbrunn in Vienna, and more)

We are planning on a saturday flight in (getting there on a sunday) and then flying out that following saturday. Most likely into Munich and out of Vienna.

That first day is probably a wash with jetlag/customs/getting to hotel.

Then you have M-W in Munich. Train out on thursday to Vienna? Then you have remainder of Thursday/Friday and then fly out on saturday.

Or would it be better to spend less in Munich? Maybe do M-T and Train out on wednesday? Better to fly into Vienna and do the reverse? Stay just in Vienna and not hop over to Germany?

So many options! But what do folks think that have done a split, we would love to stay longer but work won't let one of us off more than 5 days so we are kind of screwed on that front.
