I found this seller a month ago already and I have an infuriating experience with this seller.

I have been searching for a gaming laptop for affordable price for 2 months and half now. Specifically, 3070ti with beastly CPU and 1TB storage, more like a desktop replacement laptop. Lots of sellers I have messaged but they didn't reply very frequent. Either they 'palau' me or what else. Who knows maybe they're busy with something else, so I understand.

So, I found this seller. Apparently, they have multiple or partnership accounts on both Carousell and Facebook Marketplace.

I started to message this seller on Facebook first, and then through WhatsApp.

First, they told me that the laptop (Acer Predator) I have been looking for was out of stock and I had to wait for 2 weeks to be restocked. That was at the middle of April, so which means I had to wait until this week or early May. As on early May now, unfortunately, seller said that it couldn't get at lower price. Whatever that means but I'm just gonna say it's not on stock. So, I decided to choose the other laptop with identical specs but different brand (ASUS ROG). I have confirmed to buy it, and they send me the videos about this laptop. Specs, fps, stress test, etc.

And then, about the second-option laptop, IT WAS ALREADY BEEN SOLD EVEN THOUGH I HAVE CONFIRMED TO BUY IT YESTERDAY. The seller delayed it because it has lighting issues. And because of I live far away from where they live (I'm from Setapak while the seller is at i-City Shah Alam), the seller also provided COD service, for a fee of RM25. Why it was sold even though it has lighting issues? Like make it make sense.

But here's a catch, the reviews are quite excellent based on the recent customers. Unless they are bot reviews but they sound legit to me.

Scammer or legit seller? No idea. You tell me.

Sorry if I sound very frustrated. Why is it so hard to find affordable gaming laptop from small seller these days?
