I didn't really expect, but I kinda fw it

For me, designing UIs is a pretty tough thing to do. Trying to make sure it doesn't look like a mobile game or boring is hard. How do you guys design any tips?
For example, these are some of my designs for my upcoming game I like them but I am hard stuck at making a UI for level selecting.
