Hey y'all, I've had my Canyon for about 2 years now and the issue has popped up only a few times with the system seeming to clear the issue after the vehicle being off overnight.
The issue is, when I slowed down I'd say below 5mph, and turned the steering wheel all the way over, the truck wouldn't budge, and even when I applied gas, the truck would severely hesitate to move until I applied additional gas. Once the truck started to move you can hear the hesitation and jerking of the truck and once I stepped off the gas it would come to an abrupt stop. Full left or right, the truck would not move unless extra gas would be applied.
I would move the shifter into reverse and the exact same scenario would happen.
If the steering wheel was straight, their wasn't an issue.
You can see in the video, that the truck is in drive and during this whole thing my foot never touches the break during this.
Has anyone come across something like this? Like I said it seems to clear itself but I'm wondering what it could be and if I need to schedule an appt with the dealership
