The last bullet point here is my main question. Sounds like they are making it seem like we are on call and they can call us in on our days off or we use an attendance step.

We are NOT part of a union.

(Steps are used for unexcused absences, you get 3 when you first get hired on. You can earn more, up to 30)

I know when we got hired on we agreed to overtime on days we work. But it said nothing about having to come in on our days off. HR is unavailable till next week (wow crazy timing). What does it read like to others?

“At times, extra shifts may be needed. We will notify associates as soon as we are able.”
