Viewings while trying to pack
Our lease ends in three and a half weeks and our property manager has begun scheduling showings. We plan to move at the end of next week. I am currently trying to pack up while my husband is out of town for two weeks for work. I have three kids under five including a nursing infant. Needless to say the house is not “show ready.” So far they have schedule four showings over three days next week. I am feeling really overwhelmed with the prospect of getting the house clean for showings while also trying to pack with very little capacity for either.
I’m wondering what is a reasonable expectation for the state of the house while we are still living here/packing up? And what is a reasonable amount of showings? I understand their desire to show it prior to us moving out but four showings in one week feels a bit overwhelming and I imagine it will end up being more than that.
