I've been looking at my next theater setup and honestly it's a bit overwhelming. There's a ton of new projectors coming out, like JMGO N3 Ultimate, Xgmi Titan Noir Max, AWOL Aetherion, which makes the choice harder than it probably needs to be.

It seems like manufacturers are really focusing on flagship features these days, with things like insane brightness on the Titan, optical zoom and lens shift on the N3 Ultimate, and ultra short throw big screen claims on the Aetherion series.

My setup is not fully settled yet. I’m starting with a living room and a screen, but I may move everything to the basement later if that turns into a proper theater room. I'm trying not to get distracted by some headline specs and then regret it once the setup changes.

Curious what features do you actually use in your own setup when picking a high-end projector? Nowadays it feels like projectors aren’t just about brighter images or more accurate colors anymore. Features like flexible placement, optical adjustments, low latency, or smart streaming capabilities seem to be getting more attention, though I know some people aren’t that impressed by these marketed features. Any insights from personal experience would be really helpful.
