Upgrading my irons (2nd hand)
I had an iron fitting/lesson with the assistand pro at the club I'm a member at last week. I made it clear that I was looking to buy second hand, mainly because I don't have the money for brand new, but I'm also not good enough to consider brand new.
The lesson/fitting went well in my uneducated opinion and he sent me over 4 different options that he felt would suit me. I have narrowed it down to a set of either Taylormade Stealth or P790's. I'm currently using a set of Ping G30's.
My question is, in your collective opinions which set would be better and does the age of them really matter beyond condition. I have noticed on GC4C about a £300 difference between 2019 and 2024 P790's for example.
