Opinions on antique cabinet for TV weight
Heya Guys, apart from making me realise that I need prettier woodwork in my life. I'm looking for your opinion on this. I've been using this at least partially restored Flemish antique cabinet as a TV stand for several years. The weight of the TV was 24kg, It never sagged or creaked in the slightest in that time. I have to replace the TV and the new one is 36kg.
Understanding that nobody can say for certain, am I asking for trouble or should I be okay? There's no wood worm, warping or signs of the joints pulling apart. It seems to be as solid as ever.
