I can’t wait for Corsair’s next foray into mini itx

I had a chance to scoop up a 2000d a few months ago and pieced together an itx build! Using icue link made it much easier to manage cables, and the build turned out great. Specs are:

Cpu: i5 14400f

Gpu: RTX 5070FE

Ram: 32gb Vengeance DDR5 6000mhz

Motherboard: MSI B760i edge

Ssd: 1tb nvme ssd

Psu: Corsair sf750L with sleeved cable kit

Case: Corsair 2000d

Cooling: Thermalright sl100 with a corsair rs120mm fan, 2 slim thermalright 120mm fans for gpu airflow, and 2 lx120’s for cpu intake with a lx120-r at the top for exhaust.

So, are we ever TRULY done building?

A few weeks back, i posted that I was “finally finished” with my build, but lo and behold when selling another pc, the buyer saw my PC and really wanted it. So, I swapped the motherboard, ram, cpu, and ssd from the “for sale” build and took the opportunity to check out the Air 5400!

Cpu: i5 14600k

Gpu: Lenovo RTX 5070TI

Ram: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32gb with Light Enhancement kit

Motherboard: Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX

Ssd: Silicon Power 4TB nvme

Psu: Corsair RM750x Shift

Case: Corsair Air 5400 RS-R

Cooling: Nautilus 360 rgb AIO

Since my link setup left with my previous case, i decided to go with cooling that I had on hand from other builds i have done. I used the 3 included rs-r fans from the case and the 3 rs argb fans from the nautilus cooler in the main gpu chamber of the case. I also still had 3 sp120 rgb elite fans and a lighting node core from several years ago so i put those on the AIO. The argb fans are connected to a Commander Duo for full iCue control. The gpu rgb was a custom job, as it is a pull out from a Lenovo Legion desktop. I was able to put an argb strip in the shroud and remove the proprietary Lenovo panel without permanently modifying anything at all. This argb strip is connected to the 2nd port of the commander duo.

All in all, i really enjoyed building in this case and I’ll hopefully stick with it for a bit, but the Frame accessory drop yesterday has me thinking I may need a NAS setup soon 👀
