I liked Resurrection, but...

So I just finished Resurrection and it was great, miles better than New Blood and the last 4 seasons of the original series. But it feels like Dexter is different. Tgey turned him into more of a hero than an anti-hero. The first season of Dexter really showed him as a psychopath, especially when he finds Tony and he ponders if he should kill him or not, it just shows the ambiguity of his actions and his thought process.

In Resurrection, it just feels like he acts more as a hero, to do the "right" thing, rather than to satisfy his needs.

The one complaint I will not accept

While I do believe that Breaking Bad is the best show I have ever watched, I do get some people's stances on why they don't want to watch it. Maybe it's to gory, and I get that, my mom has a problem with that and that's why she never watched the show. Maybe it's not your thing, fine, you don't have to like crime drama, that's fine.

But I will not accept people starting the Pilot and after a few minutes saying it's boring. In the first minute of the pilot, you see a paur of pants flying, an RV raicing on the street, cut to a guy in his underwear driving said RV and 2 dead guys in the back. How do you see this and go: "Yeah bro, this thing is boring, I'm not watching this."

And even if the rest is a bit boring, aren't you interested in how they got to the situation at the start? And to add to that, Breaking Bad starts to be really interesting really fast, as compared to other shows. So no, I will not accept people saying that Breaking Bad starts slow and it is boring.

I believe that one of the worst thing about binging a show is knowing the number of seasons. Season 2 had a really great plot, well executed tension and all of that. But knowing that there were 6 more seasons (and 2 sequal series) kind of ruined the tension a bit. It was very well crafted, but in this case, the only question that remains is "how does he get away?", because you can be sure that he gets away. If there would have been only one season after season 2, then the stakes would be heightened again.

So my question is, how did season 2 feel when it first aired and you didn't know that there were going to be so many more seasons afterwards?
