Bought a used bed frame that had broken at this spot and been 'fixed' (slathered glue on it and didn't bother to replace the missing 2nd metal pin that is supposed to hold the adjoining board). I ended up breaking it again while moving the mattress.

I imagine I can cut a steel screw to size to replace the missing pin, I'm just not sure how to reattach the 2 pieces as glue seems destined to fail. The broken off piece is thin and has the cutouts for the metal pins).

Have access to most tools, just not the experience.
