Anyone living in Burmamines lease area and using Tata UISL electricity connection?

Currently we have JBVNL supply and honestly the service is not that reliable — frequent issues and poor maintenance. I wanted to know if people in lease areas can get Tata UISL electricity connection instead.

About 2 years ago, I visited the Tata UISL office and spoke to an officer there. They told me that they cannot provide electricity in our area because there is no infrastructure available there right now. They also suggested that we should approach the local MLA regarding this issue.

So I wanted to ask:

- Has anyone successfully got Tata UISL connection in a lease area recently?

- Did infrastructure get expanded anywhere?

- What is the actual process?

- Does political approval/support really matter in this case?

Would appreciate any genuine guidance or personal experiences from people who know about this situation.

Had my NPTEL exam today (morning slot). I prepared all the weekly questions but skipped PYQs… big mistake.

When the exam started, I realized none of the questions were from what I practiced. I was honestly shocked and could only solve around 7 questions on my own.

My friend was sitting just ahead of me with the same set. We were both struggling, and then a girl came and sat next to him. She literally helped him with the answers, and he passed them to me too. That moment honestly saved us.
