Breville barista pro- preinfusion issues
Hello. I got this machine 6 months ago and made this post a week or two back-
The coffee was fine, brewing 30 sec on the dot for 36 grams perfectly. With each bag i buy (of the same coffee) i have to adjust the grind a little and it works out. But recently I’ve been losing my mind coz even if i do everything THE EXACT SAME WAY, the output is different. Some shots are fine and others too fast with the same roasted batch of beans.Morning coffee was slow so i started pulling an empty shot to heat up the machine. Which is already an additional step i shouldn’t have to take coz it was working fine before. But i absolutely lost it when it shot out 45 grams in 23 seconds somehow, twice today. I dont understand , i do everything the same way and have been doing for months. Also i cleaned the grinder COMPLETELY, use the WDT tool and tamper . so that shouldn’t be the issue.
It started brewing fine so i let it be but now again its brewing fast. Then i noticed that the reason the timer is 22 sec at 40 grams is because its practically not preinfusing. So the coffee starts brewing at 3-4 second instead of its usual 10 seconds of preinfusion. I thought id have to set it up manually again but its not working ?? Even if i hold the button it starts brewing at 6 seconds. It doesnt preinfuse . I will be calling breville but if someone has any idea please help, i do not want to send my machine for maintenace😭
