How to Not Get Fired?

Just got a new job at Sutter…first day was two days ago.

Now, I am having a sudden serious flare of a disease I have.

The same place that I got a job at is the same place that will likely be overseeing my care and conducting the imaging/procedures I now need to get done…ironically.

How do I go about communicating to my boss that instead of coming in as an employee, I may come in as a patient?

Also, how do I avoid losing my job if I may miss a couple weeks due to my condition?

Petrified and confused on what to do.

I had C Diff late March and was treated with vancomycin.

It came back a month later and I’ve been on Dificid. I was fine the first couple days.

But now it’s been a week so far on Dificid and suddenly I feel like CRAP! Three days of blood, increased stool frequency, pain, and nausea.

Anyone experience this before?

Finished Vanco around Easter after my breakup with C Diff.

Stool has been PERFECT the last couple weeks as a single woman.

Then, yesterday, I got some loose stool, bloating, and stomach gurgles.

Immediately got my stool tested and here are the results:

C. DIFF TOX A/B RSLT

Value Pos

Abnormal

C. DIFF GDH AG RSLT

Value Pos

Abnormal

I definitely do not feel as bad as I did previous infection - I’m able to keep food down and haven’t gone anymore diarrhea.

Is there a chance my exes’s DNA is lingering in me from our breakup a month ago?

Or, is he back again?
