Every time I think the budget is enough, something new appears  development delays, random tools, design changes, infrastructure costs, marketing, unexpected fixes. Feels like building a product is just discovering new ways to spend money while pretending everything is “under control.”
Curious how other bootstrapped founders are managing this without external funding.

Love how building an Product is marketed as “just launch fast and validate” when in reality it’s just slowly sacrificing your sleep, social life, sanity, and ability to enjoy weekends over a feature that sounded “super simple” in a meeting 4 days ago.
At this point my entire personality is refreshing dashboards, rewriting requirements, fixing bugs that appeared for absolutely no reason, and pretending I’m okay after hearing “can we make one small change?” for the 19th time this week.
Honestly starting to think “minimum viable product” actually means “maximum psychological damage.”
How are you guys surviving this without disappearing from real life completely?
