Is it just me, or is "Outreach" the most draining part of the entire crowdfunding process?
Hey everyone,
I’ve been spending a lot of time lately looking into the 'pre-launch' and active outreach phase of crowdfunding. We always talk about the prototype, the manufacturing, and the shipping logistics, but I feel like the actual outreach—finding the people who actually care about your niche—is a massive black box.
It feels like you either have to spend $10k+ on Facebook ads (and pray for a positive ROAS) or spend 40 hours a week manually scraping lists of journalists, influencers, and community leaders only to get a 1% response rate.
I’m trying to figure out if there’s a 'common' wall we all hit, or if it depends on the category. For those currently in the trenches or who have successfully funded, what part of the outreach/marketing process felt the most broken for you?
