My 8yo is high functioning autistic with ADHD. She’s been going to ABA for two months and tutoring for about three. The problem is both of them are out of pocket expenses. ABA is $400 a month for 3 sessions a week and tutoring is $350 for 10-12 sessions a month. I’m thinking of quitting ABA because tutoring is more important for her since she doesn’t qualify for SPED classes. We want her to be able to keep up with her peers as best we can. She has a 504 plan because she couldn’t get an IEP. I’ve tried SSI but based on income we were denied. Have anyone had to go through this? Any advice would help. Thanks.
