Chemistry is extremely, extremely difficult.

I excel in biology and physics, decent at maths. I genuinely cannot conceptualise chemistry in any way shape or form, I don’t understand a single concept. My mocks are coming up, and I’m entirely self taught in Chemistry, I’ve dedicated quite some time to chemistry but nope— absolutely nothing. I don’t understand a single thing. It’s actually unnerving me that I can be this bad at a subject. Nothing clicks. There was never a moment where I went “Oh yeaaahhh!!”

I need advice, this is obviously not a regular experience. Or is it? I have no idea. I can’t memorise anything (??? despite the fact I have excellent memory) I can’t understand the basic concepts.

Currently I:

Watch revision video.

Go straight to exam questions.

Fail at the exam questions, see where I went wrong, think I understand, then get the next questions wrong.

I can’t fail this. Advice?
