absolute beginner in the tech-osphere here and i need some assistance innerstanding why the node wont accept my credentials and will not fulfill my get requests

So i have taken on learning n8n 3 days ago. trying to make the reddit node get a post and i have had no success. my credentials wont work and i cannot get help with the subject unless i register with a data api, which i dont even know what the %@$# that is yet. i dont have an app so i cant get into any of the information to clear up any questions i have so i posted here. Please point me in the direction of assistance
