I'm not from a banned country, I did have a volunteer position for my first 3 months of regular OPT, then got a full time job. For STEM OPT extension, is Premium Processing (PP) worth applying for right away, or better to wait first?

I still want approval as soon as possible even though my company is okay with the receipt notice/automatic extension while the case is pending.

Curious what most people did and whether they regretted not doing PP initially?
