I've seen a couple mentions of big companies suddenly gaining a brain and realizing that AI isn't able to magically do everything, before pulling their investments out.

What happened to make these companies suddenly listen? Is it because of how many business endeavors have been ruined by AI? Is it because of the average person finally reaching the ears of the companies? What's the deal?

I am having so much trouble finding an actual AC for my needs. I only have a sliding door in my apartment leading to the patio. I have windows, but they are made from such obtuse parts that they cannot fit an actual air conditioner.

Do you guys know an air conditioner that will fit in a sliding door and seal? Do you guys know a good air conditioner and a good seal set?

The door is roughly 6-7 feet tall.

I work at a homeless shelter, and I honestly have a lot of free time during. When I'm not making rounds of the building every two hours for damage or looking around the exterior for loiterers, I'm usually doomscrolling on social media.

I put off bringing anything valuable there because I was worried it would be stolen, but I finally caved and started bringing my 2DS there. It's such a game changer. I no longer just worsen my mental health on social media all night. I've been watching a very long let's play of Baldur's Gate 3 and trying to beat all my Pokemon games while doing so.

I really forgot how nice it is to be off social media and just in my own lane. It's super relaxing and really takes me back to my middle school years when I had one of the original DSIs.

I've lived a charmed life, as I imagine many have, and I would like a subreddit where I can share my perfectly mundane life experiences and hear people's idle thoughts on them.
