I’m currently validating an early-stage product called Zylist a searchable discovery layer for Instagram-based shopping.

The idea came from noticing how difficult product discovery is on Instagram.

There are thousands of amazing small businesses selling through Instagram, but discovering them later is surprisingly hard unless:

• you remember the store name,
• saved the post,
• or get lucky with the algorithm again.

So I built a simple MVP where users can search products/categories across Instagram sellers more intentionally.

Examples:

• “custom cakes near me”
• “oversized t-shirts under ₹1000”
• “handmade jewelry India”

Right now I’m less focused on growth and more focused on understanding whether this problem actually resonates with people.

Would genuinely love feedback on:

• Is this a real problem you've experienced?
• How do you currently discover Instagram stores?
• Does intentional product search for Instagram commerce feel useful, or is it solving something that doesn't need solving?
