I had an unplanned no spend weekend and I like it!

I left my wallet in my desk at work Friday. Funny thing is my wallet also has the code to the building security system, so I was without my wallet all weekend. My husband volunteered to take me grocery shopping, but I told everyone we’ll be just fine until Wednesday (It’s the only day of the work week that I don’t put in a 10 hour work day.) The kids think not having sliced bread is a tragedy. Hey, there’s leftover homemade pizza and hard boiled eggs in the fridge. I think we will survive. I like little challenges like that to squeak by a little longer than normal until you replenish. It lets you see everything that kind of hides in the back of the fridge and could go bad if you don’t do something about it. It’s good to stretch ourselves.

I know that milk jugs will eventually leak and are not great for long term water storage, but vinegar bottles feel 3-4x thicker (I’m unintellibally guessing) I keep these after we use up a gallon of vinegar. We don’t go through a ton maybe 2-3 a year but I also go through 1 or 2 a year at school because I teach science. I have 5 gallon jugs too, but I like adding these smaller ones when I can.
