Passed

1st time passer here.
Trained through STC.

  1. Watched videos, along with learning guide.
  2. Skimmed chapters, reviewing italicized words only
  3. Did 20 flash cards
  4. Took chapter tests

I did 2 chapters every day. Then started final exams.
I didn't grasp some concepts until the final exams, but it allowed me to put things together. Start to Pass was 16 days.

My 2 cents; between STC and FINRA practice exam, I found my pool of SIE exam questions were pretty similar.

What really helped were STC's Crunch Time Facts!!

If there was a question on the exam I didn't know. I just assumed it was one of the 5 throw away questions and moved on. I didn't beat myself up.

Marked For Review; I only did this for true 50/50 questions, which were about 8. Then went back. I only changed one answer with real confidence because another question, later on, gave me the answer in the question.

I was only nervous when I hit "complete" and waited for the results. Then, euphoria.
