After years of hopping, I think I’ve finally found home. Here is my path to CachyOS:

  • Win 10 (10 months)
  • Ubuntu (1 months)
  • Win 10 (another 3 months because I didn't like libre office)
  • Linux Mint (2 months, I liked it because the system was so stable, eveything out of the box)
  • Kubuntu (1 month– First time with KDE and fell in love with it!)
  • MX Linux (6 months, I loved MX more than Mint how stable and it was lite,)
  • Win 11 (1+ year – Newly launched, Actually preferred this over Win 10.)
  • Arch Linux (2 days Only– Total disaster; Wi-Fi and Bluetooth didn't work, took my entire weekend for troubleshooting.)
  • Win 11 (Another year)
  • CachyOS (37 days and counting...)

Honestly, CachyOS solved everything I hated about my Arch attempt. Everything works just fine, and the performance is incredible. I love how smooth it is, aesthetics and it's not resource hungry like Win 11. Glad to be here!
