Help me manage and save my salary

Hi All!

So I (M 26, Single) recently started working for my dream companies and my monthly salary here is almost 40% of my previous company's yearly salary. Which is a big deal for me because till Feb I was living paycheck to paycheck with almost no savings.

Now that I'm earning well, help me manage my salary better so that I can have a good amount of savings, security funds and investments. Any tips and advice would be really appreciated 😃

My current monthly salary is around 140k pm, so I'm breaking it down like this:

Savings - 50% i.e. 70k

Personal expenses and monthly expenditure: 40-50k

Money sent home: 20-30k

Here personal expenses include Flat rent, groceries, shopping, credit card bills, etc.

How to invest this 70k such that, I have a security fund, savings and investments?

Any help would be really appreciated, thanks for your time 😃
