Confused about wall layers during wallpaper removal

Hey, first home owners on a budget and trying to diy our walls.

It used to have wall paper and we want to remove it and paint the walls.

While peeling, we have come to realise that we don't know which layer is the gib (?husband calls it this).

The first image is the bedroom, has the grey layer, then beige, which should be the wallpaper backing, then a dark orange toned brown, then a cooler toned brown. second image is living room near the curtains wall paper and backing came off easy, then under the orange toned layer is white? Which seems to have wood or something under it.

Any help at all will be helpful!

Hey girlies! Needing some advice.

Will be getting married this winter, up in the mountains, worried I might be cold...

The next 2 photos are what I'm deciding between for a cover up, i know it won't help too much with keeping me warm.

I plan on wearing some thermal leggings under the dress and perhaps some sort of thermal strapless bodysuit for my upper body. Thinking I might also put some heat pads on my back of tummy but not sure if it'll make my dress bulge.

Any other recommendations? Brands that sell thermal bodysuits? Would gloves suit this look?

Of course I prefer to just not use any coverup, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.
