I’ve been pouring big spaghetti pots of boiling hot water down my kitchen disposal to get rid of fruit flies. It seems to be working. Is this OK for my pipes? I own a nice three-story house that was built in 2017.

I am having a bad fruit fly problem in my kitchen sink disposal. They are also sometimes moving to the trash can.

I have tried baking soda and vinegar. I have tried a whole gallon of green goblin. They seem to work for a while but then they come back. Can anyone recommend a good product for this or treatment for this? Do I need to call an exterminator? HELP!!
