Wrong In The King's English, Too

Along the Welsh seaside lies Llandudno Pier, jutting 2,295 feet into the Irish Sea.

The monstrosity pictured here was approved and printed at license payer expense.

I felt strangely compelled to add editorial annotations.

My Community Launderette Called It "Horseplay"

ATTENTION, PROPRIETORS!

There Are How Many Bailey Co-Owners?

Must I go out on a limb and conclude that graphic design of the logo included proofreading but typesetting for the neon did not?

Because lets, let's, its and it's are valid words, they tend to be missed by basic grammar checkers. Still, I feel a bilious pang whenever they are mangled, doubly so here because of the near miss of punctuation.

When I moved past the title from this post on NextDoor.com into the body, I resigned to my fate and hurled.
