The Bushala blog / Friends for Fullerton’s Future used to be entertaining. Every now and then they’d post interesting unhinged takes on city politics and local issues.
Last night, Fred Jung, Nick Dunlap, and Jamie Valencia voted to deny a Builder’s Remedy housing project despite another California city hit with a $14 million state fine over a similar denial. Oscar Valadez (District 5 candidate) owns part of this. He made the motion to deny based on vague “safety concerns.”
You’d think that this would be the headline story.
Instead, the Bushala blog focused on Councilmember Ahmad Zahra questioning the State of the City event, which reportedly brought in <$20k in profit.
At this point blog site feels more like a Fullerton Transparency fan page reposting other people’s work with commentary added. I don’t judge on their daddy/son fetishes about Zahra. Still, their energy just isn’t there anymore. 🥱
I used to read it to unwind, but now I need a replacement. Their fall off needs to be studied.
