hi! first time posting here-i’m looking for some honest advice from people who are either applying to nursing programs or have already gone through the prereq stage.

i’ve finished all my prerequisites, so all that’s left for me is the TEAS exam. i took it once and didn’t pass, which made me step back and really start questioning my next steps.

i ended up taking a gap semester to figure things out, and now i feel kind of stuck between retaking the TEAS and moving forward, or possibly reconsidering nursing altogether. a big part of what’s holding me back is self-doubt; like wondering if i’m confident, smart, or prepared enough to actually get into and handle a nursing program.

for anyone who’s been at this stage, how did you decide whether to push forward? did you ever feel unsure but ended up continuing anyway?

i’m just trying to get a realistic sense of whether this kind of hesitation is normal at this point or if it’s something to take seriously before moving forward.

would really appreciate any honest advice or experiences. thank you so much in advance!!! :)

hi! first time posting here—looking for some honest advice from people who are in nursing school or recently went through it!

i’ve finished all my prerequisites, so all i have left is the TEAS. i took it once and didn’t pass, which kind of threw me off and made me step back and really question if this is the right path for me.

i ended up taking a gap semester to figure things out, and now i feel stuck between trying again or reconsidering. a big part of it is self-doubt; like wondering if i’m confident, smart, or strong enough for nursing school itself.

for those of you who are in it right now or just finished school, did you ever feel like this before starting or during school? what made you push through the doubt?

i’m just trying to figure out if this kind of hesitation is normal at this stage or if it’s something i should take more seriously.

would really appreciate any honest advice, good or bad. thank you in advance!! :)
