Got a ConEd bill for $1498 “adjustments” all of sudden and they’re threatening to turn-off.

My electricity usage for the month was only 119 kWh and the normal charges were $72.57 for last 29 days.

But there’s a separate “Adjustment” charge of $1,498.47 with zero explanation anywhere on the bill.

Has anyone dealt with this before?
