I got into UMD through Freshmen Connection in Letters and Sciences, but my goal is to transfer into Engineering. I have a decent amount of AP credit coming in — enough to skip some of the standard intro courses. Does that actually help me transfer sooner, or does the timeline stay the same regardless?

im taking like 4 APs and im gonna end up with an overall like 2-3Cs, maybe even 1 D instead of a C. The C or maybe even D is in a core class for me (calc bc). Am I cooked, or am I overreacting?
