Bathtub Faucet Dripped for a Few Minutes

I noticed after shower bathtub faucet dripped almost 7 to 8 minutes before a complete stop. After that it didn't drip. There was a leak from shower head joint (not shown in pictures) as well when flow was on but stopped handle was turned to off position.

It is Delta faucet with cartridge model# RP46074. Installed in 2015. Cartridge unit is available online only, not available in local home improvement stores (in my city).

Is it a sign of wearing cartridge (seals/o-rings) and time to replace the cartridge? Or I should wait for few more days to see?

Or I should purchase the whole kit?

Faucet cartridge is about $90 whereas a mediocre faucet kit (Delta or Moen) is about $150 at Home Depot/Rona. Nice ones start at $190.

A professional said $375 for labour only. After watching videos, I feel I can do it myself.
