For my undergraduate thesis, I am exploring how the Clark International Speedway can transition from a "closed" sporting venue into an inclusive "Civic Gateway" a space that serves the local community every single day, not just during race weekends.
Specialized facilities often feel like "walled islands" in our city. My goal is to design architectural solutions that safely "unlock" these gates for public use, think weekend markets, parks, and jogging tracks without ever compromising the high-speed racing we love.
