Scooby-Doo FanFest at Universal
I recently attended FanFest just for the Scooby-Doo and the Gang experience and let me tell you....it was beyond my dreams. I cried seeing the merchandise first time. A wall of Scooby overwhelmed me, beautiful sight.
Then turned a corner, there was Scoob and Shaggy taking fan pics. I rushed in line with tears in my eyes. They recorded our interactions and it was so funny, I was a hot mess lol
Then the Backlot experience was outstanding! The characters, details and dedication blew me away. As a super fan since I was 7, born in '86, seeing Scooby receive this level of budget and attention after many dry spells. I'm so touched! I went from spending lunch money hunting down Scooby toys and DVDs in HS to an entire movie set as a backdrop to solving a Scooby-Doo mystery with the Gang.
Thank you to everyone at Universal. My inner child is healed.
