Hi there,
I've got a 1995 Nissan Pulsar that I've been using to learn manual. It's only been like a month or so.
I've mainly been practising by driving around our estate. The main problem I've noticed with myself is that sometimes (just randomly), when I'm holding the clutch at the biting point, my leg will start to shake so uncontrollably.
First, I thought maybe the clutch was on its way out. Nope - once it starts, it still happens when the car is off.
I read some of the causes for this, and it mainly talks about seating position and also being too nervous.
Seating position: As you can see from the video, I've moved the seat closer so that my leg is not fully stretched.
Nervousness: Through the roof! I'm still learning and always worried about stalling when going on the main roads. Some of the Aussie tradies and soccer mums do not like getting stuck!
On another note, I do run daily. And sometimes go out for a drive 3-4 hours later. Could it be muscle fatigue too?
Honstly, any help or recommendations would be welcome. If it really is just that I need to suck it up and get more comfortable driving stick before this goes away, then so be it.
Thank you in advance
