I’m a victim of Costco’s bagged bulbs
Costco’s bagged bulbs were too good to pass up and I planted 300+ bulbs in the fall. Some of which were bluebells… (the others were hyacinths, alliums, and crocuses)
This sub has shown me the light and I’ve gone through and pulled all the bluebells I could find. Luckily in the winter, my resident mole had feasted on my newly planted bulbs, so there weren’t many to cull. The ones I did pull weren’t well established yet.
Goodbye bluebells, you were cute before I knew you sucked.
Edit: I love Costco and the bulb quality has been great; just didn’t love my unknowing introduction of invasives!
