Is it too late to get a dorm at ASU as a transfer? Is dorming at 20 weird?

Hey everyone, I’m a 20 year old transfer student from california and considering ASU, and I was wondering if it’s too late to still get a dorm for the fall? Tempe Campus

Also, is it weird to live in a dorm at 20 as a transfer student? I’d be a little older than most freshmen, but I also feel like dorming could help me meet people, make friends, and get used to campus life faster.

I’m an incoming transfer student from California and I was wondering if there are many students from California or the West Coast at MSU. For anyone who moved from the West Coast to East Lansing, what was the adjustment like? Did you feel like it was easy to make friends and find your people?

I’m an incoming transfer student, and I was wondering how online math classes are. Are they manageable and for anyone who has taken an online math class how was your experience? Would you recommend it?

I’m an incoming transfer student going in for comm at MSU, and I completed my math requirement at my community college. I’m trying to figure out if that means I’m done with math at MSU, or if I might still have to take another math class depending on my major.

Also, do I still need to take the MSU math placement test if my math requirement is already completed and transferred over?

Has anyone transferred in with their math requirement done? Did MSU still make you take the placement test, or did your transfer credit cover it?

I hate math...............

I’m an incoming junior transfer student I am 20. I was wondering if it’s weird to live in the dorms at that age, especially if my roommate might be younger than me. I know a lot of transfers look into apartments, but I feel like dorming could help me meet people and adjust to campus life faster. I am coming from California and don't know anyone.

Has anyone here dormed as a junior transfer or lived with someone a little younger? Was it awkward or did it feel normal once the semester started? Or maybe I am just overthinking? lol

I just got accepted to MSU as a transfer student, but I was admitted into Communications instead of the Broad College of Business. My gpa was a 3.7 and some extracurriculars I thought I had a chance but I guess not. My goal is to study business specifically business management and I’ll be entering as a junior. MSU was my top choice I am kinda bummed out.... :/

I’m trying to understand how realistic it is to switch into the business school If I go to MSU. Has anyone been in a similar situation or successfully transferred into Broad after starting in another major?
