My first pair were the Kz Castors and I liked the way they sounded then I wanted a better pair so I winged it and got the Truthear crinnacle's and didnt really like the way they sounded bc if i had to put it they kinda sounded bland and last time I listened to them was like a year or 2 ago because I only have 1 cord. right now i'm using the Red lions and I like them. out of the 3 which ones would you guys say are the best for gaming and then the best for music? willing to give the castors and truthears another chance being the last time I used them was prob going on 2 years ago..... and what cords would you recommend for comparability bc the cord I'm using now that came with the red lions is kinda uncomfortable the cord doesnt sit tight around my ears it like loosens.
I need to know what to enable and what settings to use to get the fastest browsing possible. using orgin in the nightly build and yes I know its a stripped down version so it should already be somewhat faster.
Being new to the linux community I see a lot of people saying they don't like snaps this and that.. so instead they enable flatpaks or download the deb versions which I agree with in most cases like I needed slack so I just went and got it from the website long story short I was stuck doing brave tweaks messing with flags, extensions etc finally got tired of it and used Firefox through snaps and twitch works beautifully!!! I never knew Firefox through snaps is already optimized for your hardware through cannicol or whatever its called ? I just think its funny I tried for days to get brave to run twitch at 1080p and Snap firefox just runs it effortlessly I am on a 2015 macbook pro btw 8gb ram 2.7 processor speed. I now will embrace snaps lol
Just recently moved into our new house (my 3 kids and gf) after living in a camper for years and just recently living out of a hotel for about 6 months. I am with my kids from the time I wake up till I go to bed. My wife works 12hr shifts then after work door dashes for extra money. I am currently a struggling Life insurance agent im with a really good IMO but I struggle with consistency and being stable. I can't stay consistent with shit one day i'll be all about working hard and then out of nowhere I have to fight myself to do anything.... convinced my doctor to lower my meds because I felt like I was finally getting my life together I was working hard made some sales him lowering my med made me unstable and I mainly wanted it lowered to reverse the side affects of my manhood. every since that med change I just feel like im deteriorating I just want to be stable and Consistent. He tried me on a new med and the first night I took it I was having weird sensations in my chest almost like a burning, had restless legs and bc of that my anxiety went through the roof. so he put me back on the old med but kept the dose what it was originally at in the beginning I def feel way better than before. but my day consist of nothing but me taking care of my kids daily, sitting on my macbook fucking with linux distros and becoming irritated bc nothing seems to go right on it. during the day I feel somewhat okay
ive tried h264ify extension, im using brave orgin anyone tell me how I can stream 1080p no problem without buffering like what flags to use etc?
I have the h26ify extension... I have shields set to standard, im using brave nightly/orgin I have memory saver set to balanced and im on a 2015 macbook pro 8gb ram what flags should I use to get that 1080p performance? so far gemini has me using zero copy rasterizor, smooth scrolling enabled, vulkan disabled, gpu rasterization disabled..
Is brcmfmac the native driver for mac on ubuntu 26.04 lts? like this is the driver you receive when installed I need to know this.
to the macbook users do you guys have mbpfan installed? I mean my mac has been having good temps without it but if mbpfan would keeps temps even lower obviously i'd install it.
This shit feels so snappy out of the box, Very well put together love how all of my apps are sorted, I like how the files are setup looks very nice, like how easy it was to set a dock, etc. I've had Mint cinnamon, Kubuntu, and now Ubuntu on this mac and I think I am staying on Ubuntu for good. so simple and easy to navigate and looks too good. was thinking I was going to have to tweak settings in the terminal like zram, and swappiness but with the way it's feeling think I wont touch anything and just let it be? specs are 8gb ram, 128gbSSD, Intel® Core™ i5-5257U, Intel® Iris® Graphics 6100, also is it worth the performance gain to disable snaps?
Think I want to make the switch tonight, I like how Ubuntu looks straight upon installation and I also like the way everything is setup. I installed Kubuntu bc of customization but really haven't done anything But make a dock and set a wallpaper. anyone else use to have Kubuntu and are you glad you switched?
2015 macbook pro- My brightness seems so dim anyway to fix this? even though it says 100% on keyboard light and screen I just know it's not at 100%
so far feels way better than regular brave and the fact its $60 and I got it for free makes it even better. i'd try it if you havent yet unless you use all those features it comes w.
I changed the icon for application launcher thinking I might need to do an all white tiger face but I tried changing the rest and some of the icons just dont look like they belong like I changed the settings icon and it looked horrible so I just kept the application launcher new icon. anyone ever change icons and it actually looks good?? could use the advice
snapd and all Snap-based apps (Firefox, Discord, etc.).snapd.service and snapd.socket to stop them from ever loading into RAM.nosnap.pref file to permanently block Snaps from re-installing during system updates..deb versions of Discord and Brave for direct hardware access and lower memory overhead.balooctl6 disable) to stop background disk thrashing and CPU spikes.packagekit service to prevent the system from constantly "waking up" to check for updates in the background.brave is not blocking twitch ads at all. I'm stuck watching more ads than actual gameplay I am on a mac on linux if that matters...... Best ad blocker thats also lightweight? I guess if that makes sense.
2015 macbook pro, im on 125% scale and still everything looks small, my retina screen looks like shit, words are fuzzy. it's almost as if I took an FOV slider and zoomed all the way out. also I updated my driver to i965 apparently this is the one that works well with my system and gemini told me that it puts performance first that could also be why my screen looks like shit idk I've literally been trying to fix one thing then 2 more problems come up.
