If I get contracted, will that contract affect my work’s future sequels?
Note: Every sequel has its own theme, and each one is both dependent on and independent from the others when viewed separately.
Why I don't see any senior webnovel work in this community?
The juniors are the most active one here
I was designing one of my characters, then I turned the description into text and used AI to generate a visual image, but it ended up creating it as a cover instead.
What do you think guys? 🙏 😂
How can I get out ?!
I accidentally tapped on a contest competition and ended up joining it. I can’t find any option that lets me withdraw from the contest, so I’d like to know if it’s still possible to return to my non participating status.
There was a TikTok competition about two character dynamics, and this idea came to me on the spot. It could actually turn into a pretty solid side project, unless teenage girls start shipping the two of them.
Oscar: Why are you doing this? You said you would bring peace and prosperity to our homeland and protect it. So why are you doing the opposite now?
Herald: You are wrong. I never wanted war either. What I wanted was a moment of peace, where good emotions are shared among families, friends, and allies. A time when laughter and love fill the air, and the voices of joy reach the ears of the young.
But those voices fade. Fear and anger take their place, settling into the hearts of the next generation. What was once warmth begins to collapse. Families become foes, friends turn into enemies, and allies become nemeses.
Then they destroy one another, and the cycle of good and evil begins again, repeating endlessly.
That is the true nature of Duosim, a reality I have witnessed and a world I have come to despise. To prevent such a cycle from consuming our homeland, there must be a painless elimination, so that goodness alone may remain.
Hello everybody,
I’m starting to learn machine learning, but I’m not exactly a beginner. I come from a web development background, so I already have a solid grasp of Python. My plan was to begin with mathematics by following a roadmap recommended by ChatGPT, but I feel a bit skeptical about it.
From my past experience, especially when I was starting out in full stack development, I realized that the best learning path often comes through trial and error. I had to figure out what worked for me the hard way. Because of that, I’m hesitant to fully rely on a predefined roadmap this time.
Machine learning is both a hobby and a dream of mine, so I want to approach it in the right way from the start.
So I would appreciate if you give this junior a roadmap and one or two advice
A person with a more unconventional or “twisted” mindset who learns writing in a week might have a higher chance of creating something remarkable than someone who has spent years practicing in a more conventional way. The key factor here isn’t just learning,it’s how thoughts are processed and how the world is perceived.
A more “normal” writer often shares the same perspective as the majority of readers, while someone with a unique mindset may approach ideas, characters, and storytelling in a way that feels fresh and distinctive.
However, being unconventional doesn’t automatically guarantee great work and being convectional doesn't automatically guarantee an average work .
In fact, the more your thinking aligns with the norm, the easier it may be to produce something relatable but it also risks feeling predictable or average. Of course, there are plenty of exceptions, and that’s a discussion for another time.
If you look at many well-known authors, you’ll notice that what sets them apart is the distinctiveness of their ideas, characters, and storytelling.
Until next time.
Hey fellow authors,
Over the past few days, I’ve been scrolling through this community, and post after post, I’ve noticed that the majority are authors promoting and recommending their novels in their own way. However, there’s a smaller group that caught my attention—and it’s the reason I’m writing this.
This minority does something I wouldn’t necessarily call right or wrong, but rather questionable or unnecessary. For example, some share parts of their novel’s plot, post entire chapters, or reveal other details related to their work.
First of all, I’m not criticizing their approach. But everything has its place and purpose. For instance, a chef doesn’t cook for themselves to taste, but for their customers. The same applies to us—what we write is meant for readers, not for fellow authors. If we feel stuck or unable to complete our work, what we should be looking for are tips and guidance—not exposing our unfinished ideas, plots, or characters.
In the end, it’s not just about what you seek, but how you seek it. Everyone here is an author—a potential rival. They might give you advice, but they may also take inspiration in return if you focus on what instead of how.
Anyway, that’s all my thoughts for now. Take care.
Hey fellow authors , I was scrolling this communities in those past days , scroll after scroll the majority of the posts was about authors flexing and recommending Thier novel in Thier own way , but there's a minority which was the reason I typed those texts , and those minorities do something which I'd not say it wrong or right but suitable or unnecessary, for example leaking some of Thier novel's plot , post a whole chapters on the communities and other thing related to Thier novel .
First of all I'm not criticising Thier way of doing things , but everything has it's directed way and roles , for example a chief meals isn't for a chief to taste but his customers , as the same could be said for us , what we write is for our readers not the authors like us , if we lack the ability to complete the work , what we sought to search is the tips and tricks but not show our work , exposing our vulnerable plots, character and etc .
In the end it's not a matter of what to seek but how to seek , everyone here an author a rival of yours , he might give you advice but take inspiration in exchange if you seek what not how , any way that's all my yapping and mumbling have it nice .
