Some Tintin Mail Art
This is some of the decorated envelopes i have sent to a friend over the years. He got me into Tintin, so I always try to make sure the envelopes (or postcards) have some sort of Tintin imagery.

I had to build a new back door to my art studio, so I decided to paint it with the dragon from the Blue Lotus!
I grew up reading Tintin. The characters are close to my heart. I started this during the pandemic...never ended up finishing it, but I still kind of dig it. Curious to see how others have incorporated Tintin into their lives here in this forum.
These are some different embroideries I have done of religious figures
Embroidered back in 2016, this hand embroidery measures 16" x 21"
I did these hand embroideries for the - then Austin, Texas based - band, Okkervil River. What I found really neat is how their designer took my two different embroideries and combined them into the final album cover. It was neat!
I have done a handful of hand embroideries for album covers, for different bands. This was one I created for a Rhode Island band, called Pines of Rome. Done back in 2022, it measures 12" square. It now lives in a private collection on the East Coast of the US
An embroidery I did of our shiny friend back in 2017. Measuring 27.5" x 19.75"
It now sits in a collection on the west coast, USA
Folks had been saying they wanted to see the progress on the six foot tall Chewbacca I am embroidering. I even had the good fun of working on it out in front of a New Bedford Movie theater on May the 4th, when they showed the original trilogy. Lots of fun.
I'm working on a 6 foot tall, hand embroidered Chewbacca. This is a recent progress shot.
