These two brutes clash in a gladiatorial pit.

Throughout fiction there are lots of giant ape monsters, a lot of them inspired by King Kong, and that type of fictional creature seems to be as popular to people’s imaginations as Vampires, Werewolves, and Dragons. So what if we pit a bunch of different fictional giant apes/apelike monsters up against each other? If you don’t know all of them you don’t have to answer for the ones you don’t know. The battle is in the Jungles of Vietnam.

For round 1 the apes include:

King Kong (1933, 1976 and 2005 versions each)
