I find it interesting the discourse around Trump and Iran.

Things I hear on Reddit and most media:
- Trump is a warmonger.
- Implications that dems aren’t warmongers.
- Blame thrown at Trump-voters for voting for a warmonger.
- Many conservatives being disappointed with Trump, and others saying, “Idiot, this is what you voted for.”
- Some conservatives being like “Hell yeah this is what I voted for.”

My memory/perception:
- Trump ran on isolationism. He’s always been unpredictable, but this is a turn.
- Biden was fairly pacifist.
- Harris was a mystery box of who-knows what-she-believes.
- Hillary ran on war with Iran. She was incredibly hawkish, and spearheaded many of the Yemen drone strikes and such.
- Every president since Bush Senior seems to have a hard time not doing war stuff. (Again, I’d say Biden was relatively the most dovish.)

Anyway… I feel like I’m in an alternate reality or people just have no memory of events that happened in the very recent past 🤣
