Doctor said this isn’t anything to be concerned about?
I did a holter monitor as requested by my family doctor since I was feeling some skipped beats with my heart. Like this:
beat..beat..beat..(pause).. BEAT.. beat.. beat..beat
Essentially it’ll feel like a skipped beat and the one right after is extra hard. I feel it randomly, maybe 5-15 times per day. I’ve felt it all my life, figured I’d get it checked out.
What’s weird is I pressed the button on the holter monitor every time I felt this, and yet it says sinus rhythm? How come? I only saw my family doctor regarding these results, no cardiologist, not sure why… doctor said what I feel could be PAC/PVC but since it says rare he’s not concerned. Just confused about the button pressing and why it says sinus rhythm.
If anyone could chime in as to why it says sinus rhythm when I pressed the button that’d be great.
