Bag/Pouch Recommendations for OM-5 + 12-45mm f/4 PRO lens + 14-150mm II lens
TL;DR: What bag should I get for my OM-5 and its two lenses? Pictures of current ideas attached.
Hello! I’m looking for some recommendations for my new camera and two lenses (they haven’t arrived yet, I just bought them in the amazing flash sale OM System have this weekend)! I had a Lowepro somethingsomethinglittletinyzipbag before but it smelled musty and I had suspected water ingress/fungus growth in my previous camera, so I got rid of it. I really liked the bag, but mainly used it for storage rather than actually carrying it around with me all day, because I tend to always already have a bag/backpack (usually just a little Quechua one from Decathlon) with me when I go, well, anywhere. But then do I want to stuff a camera into the bottom of my backpack in an insert, thereby rendering the majority of the space inside unusable? I tend to use my camera when travelling mainly, which is why I wanted the zoom lens as well as the f/4 PRO, but I’m stuck on what I should be looking for… Because I guess I haven’t really decided what I want! Options I’ve been looking at so far are a cross-body bag, a neoprene pouch, a singular lens pouch (to then carry the camera around my neck anyway and just keep the other lens in my bag), a bag insert like the Tenba BYOB 7 camera insert, and even a “home” bag and an “outside” bag. I’m feeling a little overwhelmed by all these choices, especially as the camera hasn’t even arrived yet lol. I’m also not sure I want the strap (and the weight of the bag) on just one shoulder, because that’s why I swapped from a messenger bag to a small backpack.
