Anyone else shocked to see that women are allowed to do this? Seems like too much freedom for what they are going for and horse gals are always another level.

I'm so glad there is a mini fish pond group!
We are running two separate 25 gallon ponds. We have the whole set up, filter, live plants, heater ( as needed), etc. The ponds have metal mesh coverings to prevent birds from picking them out. We have had fish/plant ponds before, but these will be our first ones at our new/current home.
One pond will likely hold a male betta OR a female sorority. Now I'm struggling to decide what fish to put in the other one. We could do another betta set up OR we could do something else. Leaning towards something else!!! The more I search for options the more undecided I become.
What would you do? What do you recommend?
