Great Day for Hoops in High Point

Great Day for Hoops in High Point

Big week in beautiful High Point.

This week alone we’ve been part of:

  • a large company appreciation event
  • a private graduation celebration
  • and now we’re gearing up for the huge Triad GO FAR Community 5K & Fun Run this Saturday, May 16th downtown. The event brings together families, schools, and the community for a full morning of energy and activity.

One of the coolest things about starting this business has been seeing how many different types of events people want interactive entertainment at. One day it’s employees competing against their boss for high score bragging rights… the next it’s graduation parties getting WAY more competitive than expected.

We’re especially excited for the GO FAR race this weekend because it’s exactly the kind of community event we love being part of — active, family-focused, outdoors, and full of positive energy. GO FAR’s mission centers around helping kids build confidence and healthy habits through fitness and community programs.

High Point has honestly been awesome to work in so far! Next up: We want to work with HPU!

We launched Hoop Greensboro about 2 months ago, and somehow we’ve already booked 25 events. That’s 25 birthdays, school events, team parties, and community gatherings that trusted us to bring something fun and different — and we don’t take that lightly.

Starting something from scratch is always a little nerve-wracking, but the support from this community has made it way easier (and way more fun) than we ever expected.

If you’ve booked with us, shared a post, told a friend, or even just liked/commented — it genuinely means a lot.

We’re just getting started and have a lot more planned, but we wanted to pause and say we appreciate you.

If you see us around Greensboro, come say what’s up and take a few shots 🏀

Random debate I got into this weekend

If you’re going to a birthday party, school event, or even a company picnic—what are you picking:

A) Bounce house

B) Mobile basketball arcade (high score challenge style)

Bounce houses are classic, but I’ve noticed when there’s a mobile basketball arcade with a scoreboard, people get way more competitive—kids, teens, even adults start going at it trying to beat each other’s score 😂

We recently added high score medals as prizes and it took things to another level. People were lining up for rematches.

Curious what y’all think—are bounce houses still king, or are competitive games taking over?
